To say the 2nd Annual Back the Blue Fundraiser, in memory of Detective Jerry Eick was a success would be a major understatement! It was a tremendous night dedicated to a tremendous man with funds and toys being collected for tremendous causes. This year we decided to do something else to enhance the night and that was to create the inaugural Jerry Eick Memorial Award to further honor his legacy. The award was presented to two incredible members of the Staten Island community and two incredible supporters of the NYPD which were both major parts of Detective Eick’s life.
